主讲人简介
Bart van Arem教授分别于1986年和1990年获得荷兰屯特大学硕士及博士学位。1991年-2009年Bart教授在TNO（荷兰应用科学研究组织）工作。2009年起Bart教授在代尔夫特理工大学担任教授，2010年-2017年担任交通运输及规划系主任，2011年至今担任代尔夫特理工大学交通研究所主任，2003年-2012任屯特大学兼职教授。在Transportation Research Part B/Transportation Research Part C等国际顶级期刊和会议中发表论文三百余篇。
主讲内容简介
High expectations rest on Automated Driving to drastically change our lives. Traffic will be more efficient and safe, and we can work and recreate on the way. However, this may also attract more travel by car. Automated Driving could also lead to difference in land use: commuting distances may commute leading to differences in residential choice. Space occupied by parking place may be allocated to other types of use, since automated vehicles can be shared and parked elsewhere when idling. In this lecture we will review development staging of Automated Driving, potential impacts on mobility and land use and give an outlook on future research needs.
