王雪松教授从2003年在美国攻读博士开始道路交通安全研究,2008年回国参加工作以来,面对我国道路交通安全基础数据欠缺、研究刚刚起步的局面,致力于提高交通事故基础数据质量、建设学科基础研究实验平台(驾驶模拟、自然驾驶),开展道路设计安全评估、道路设施安全分析、交通安全规划研究。
改善道路交通安全基础数据与分析。研发了“上海市道路交通事故分析预警系统”。2010年起,上海市交警基于该系统进行事故统计与查询、事故多发点判别与管理。2012年起在上海市实现了事故地点的规范记录和实时定位。在国际上较早针对安全评价指标的多样性及时空相关性进行了深入探索,在此基础上提出了针对不同事故类型的安全可提高空间事故多发设施判别方法。
高仿真驾驶模拟器的建设与应用。参与建成了中国首个具有8自由度运动系统、先进的图像融合校正系统的驾驶模拟器(6自由度和20m×5m的XY运动导轨)。攻克了道路精确建模、实验设计、数据分析等模拟器应用关键技术,进行了道路设计安全评估、前向避撞预警、疲劳驾驶预警等研究。
构建自然驾驶数据采集与分析平台。组织了tyc8722太阳集团城、通用汽车、弗吉尼亚理工大学自然驾驶国际合作项目。安装了国际先进的自然驾驶数据采集设备(4路摄影头、可跟踪前方8个物体的雷达、全球定位系统、车辆总线数据记录器)。已经采集累计超过12万公里的运行数据,开发了自然驾驶实验数据管理与分析系统,系统实现了多元数据的同步以及可视化处理。
开展交通安全规划与政策研究。参与了国家“十三五”道路交通安全管理规划编制。编制了面向2020年《上海城市交通发展白皮书》交通安全管理章节。深入分析了路网结构、交通运行特征对区域交通安全的影响机理,建立了美国、上海市区和郊区的宏观安全模型,对于制定以交通安全为目标的交通规划方案和比选不同交通规划方案的安全性具有重要价值。
