Professor Qian has long been engaged in research on transportation geotechnical engineering and intelligent construction technologies. He has presided over 4 research projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China and more than 10 provincial and ministerial projects. Qian has published more than 100 academic papers, won second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award and 6 first prizes of Provincial and Ministerial Science and Technology Progress Award.
