Having been engaged in teaching and research in the field of transportation infrastructure maintenance and intelligent operation for more than 20 years, Prof. Chen got much achievements. He has won a total of 9 awards,including the National Science and Technology Progress Award, Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress Award, and China Highway Science and Technology Progress Award. His more than 100 papers and 6 monographs and textbooks have been published, and 10 invention patents and 5 software copyrights have been obtained. He has participated in the editing of more than 10 national and local technical standards and helped to develop road and bridge management systems in more than 20 provinces, cities or regions. In addition, Prof. Chen is supporting and leading the progress of digital operation and maintenance technology.
